Since 2015 Siteco has been the system and software unit of the Engineering Company Sina SpA of the ASTM Group, one of the top Italian industrial groups, with the Mission to study and develop technologies (tools, equipment and software applications) for Surveying & Inspection Engineering.
Relying on a consolidated experience in the field of mapping and surveying, road asset and facility management, and powered by a forward-leaning attitude, Siteco develops and sells world-class technology Mobile Mapping Systems. The Road-Scanner project started with the collaboration of the universities of Parma and Bologna.
The MMS Road-Scanner, the company’s flagship, is a very flexible scalable turnkey solution, a portable, self-calibrating system, adaptable to any vehicle. These features make it the ideal tool to meet customer’s requirements, making traditional work faster, more economical and efficient, thereby driving greater profitability in business.
Road-Scanner has surveyed thousands of kilometers of roads and highways, requested by private companies and public administrations, highly implemented in the field of Infrastructures inspection, asset management, and road inventory, but it is more and more used for city modeling and the pavement management of roads and airports.
In 2004 Siteco obtained the ISO 9001-Vision 2000 certification, with update toISO 9001:2015, for the following activities:

- Design and development of Road and Geographical Information Systems
- Services of road surveys, mapping and inventory.
